Lesson3 저는 I, 저의 My, 저를 Me
전, 제, 절 are shorten forms. Korean shorten words very often, because it is more concise.
- "I" = "저는" => "전"
- You may know that "나" or "제가", "저가"... "~은/는" and "~이/가" are important in korean. But it is hard to explain them. So i just pass it now.
- "My" = "저의" => "제"
- "Me" = "저를" => "절"
Natural Examples
- 전 BTS를 좋아해요. I like BTS.
- 전 학생이에요. I am a student.
- 제 취미는 외국어 공부에요. My hobby is learning languagues.
- (그거는) 제 강아지에요. (It's) my dog. 그거는 = 그건 = it, 강아지 = dog
- (당신은) 절 좋아해요? Do (you) like me?
- (당신은) 절 알아요? Do (you) know me?
